Wibit Water Park Opening Delayed Due to Low Water Levels: The 2025 opening of the Ruidoso Wibit Water Park at Grindstone Lake is delayed due to low water levels and will not take place on Memorial Day weekend. A new evaluation is planned for mid-June to determine if setup will be possible later this summer. The Municipal Pool will open as scheduled on Memorial Day weekend on 5/24/25 at 11:00 a.m. For more info, call 575-257-5030.

Opening Time: 11:00 a.m. (Memorial Day Weekend) 05/24/2025 .
Public Hours: 11:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Pool Party Reservations: 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Catalog - Village of Ruidoso, NM
Last Day for Public Swimming: August 9th (Pool Party available)
Closure: August 10th, 2025
Fee: $5 per person (includes swimming and slide)
Note: No Pool Party rentals on the day before closing due to Pooch Party preparation.

Day Use Fee: $20 per person. Cards only. No cash.
SUMMER RESERVATIONS SYSTEM:
In an effort to preserve our natural resources and manage visitor capacity, the Village of Ruidoso will require a daily parking fee at Grindstone Lake and holiday weekend advance parking reservations throughout the summer. The Grindstone Lake Daily Parking Fee is $10 per vehicle. No reservations are required Monday - Thursday.
