Summer 2025 Update: Wibit Water Park Opening Delayed Due to Low Water Levels: The 2025 opening of the Ruidoso Wibit Water Park at Grindstone Lake is delayed due to low water levels and will not take place on Memorial Day weekend. A new evaluation is planned for mid-June to determine if setup will be possible later this summer. The Municipal Pool will open as scheduled on Memorial Day weekend on 5/24/25 at 11:00 a.m. For more info, call 575-257-5030.

The Grindstone Lake boat ramp will be closed for three weeks effective April 22, 2022, for the construction of a boat ramp. Boaters can carry their kayaks and boats down the ramp but will not be able to drive down the ramp.
