The Ruidoso Parks and Recreation Department is excited to announce that the new playground at Schoolhouse Park is officially open! This project was fully funded by a quality-of-life grant from the New Mexico Department of Finance and Administration, dedicated exclusively to parks and recreation infrastructure. This grant ensured that local citizens incurred no additional costs.

The playground, designed to resemble a miniature ranger station, features state-of-the-art padded fall protection and a variety of fun, engaging elements for children of all ages. A new fence has also been installed to enhance safety, providing a secure and enjoyable environment for the youth in our community.
