Join us for biking, disc golf, and archery alongside new friends and our fun youth activity leaders. For kids grades 1 to 6.

Registration: Online only (Under Activities & Programs tab)

Ages: First grade to Sixth grade.

Hours: Drop off at 8:30 am, Pick up at 4:00 pm

Fees: $20 per child for both days. $15 single day.

What: Wilderness Weekends

Dates: 3 weekends duration during summer 2022

Times: Drop off- 8:30am - Pick-up 4pm

Where: Multiple village locations. See below.

Overview: The Village of Ruidoso Parks and Recreation would like to provide a summer wilderness camp that gives local children an opportunity to learn and experience the outdoors in a safe constructive environment. The camp would be divided into themes that would last two days. 

Schedule:

• July 9-10 Outdoor Sports at Wingfield Park

• July 16-17 Water and Lake at Alto Lake

• July 28-29 Wildlife and Archery at Moon Mountain

Registrations:

·        Online registration only

·        Ages 1st grade-6th grade

• 2 groups of 12 kids

• 7yr-9yr / 10yr-12yr

·        $20 per child for both days or $15 a day

Please make sure each child has the following and that everything they bring has their name on it.

• Water bottle and snacks

• Appropriate clothing to get dirty

• Appropriate shoes to run and play in

• Swim suit or change of clothes

Please remember that we will be outside and sunscreen is encouraged.
